4th of July Outfit Ideas
The 4th of July is by far my favorite holiday. It's filled with fun in the sun and hanging out on the lake. Plus, who doesn't love fireworks?! My sisters and little baby nephew are coming into town later this week, and on Saturday we're having a big party that we have at my parents' house every year. We're also going to watch the fireworks on their lake. Needless to say, I'm really excited for it!
Today I wanted to share some 4th of July outfit ideas because I know everyone does something different so I figured I'd share a few different options depending on what your plans are.
I'll be wearing a version of this look to the party on Saturday for the daytime. I think it's perfect for a backyard BBQ. These sandals are some of my favorites right now. They're so affordable and look chic which is a win-win in my mind! I also have been wearing these sunnies on repeat lately. There are few things I like more than raw hem shorts and a flowy top. This will work in the hot weather and not make you boil all day. Also, this handbag has been on my wish list for a long time. I. NEED. IT.
This next look is perfect to watch fireworks in. I'll definitely be bringing a sweatshirt with me to the party on Saturday for later on. These shorts have been my go-to all summer so far -- they're insanely comfortable and aren't too short. This look would work for fireworks or a bonfire when it get a little chilly out at night and you also don't want all your skin showing because of the bugs. Anyone else majorly attract mosquitos? I swear, I walk outside and they attack me, it's terrible. I paired these shorts and sweatshirt with a tote so you could carry bug spray, s'more supplies, or a change of clothes from the daytime with you. I also love to wear espadrilles or sneakers of some sort for nighttime in the summer. So cute!
Lastly, this would be a great look for a BBQ or brunch. If you like to be a bit more dressy this romper is a comfortable option while still looking put together. I paired it with my fave platform wedges, crossbody bag, and sunnies. I also paired a denim jacket with this look so you could wear it from day to night.
I hope you got some inspiration to plan your 4th of July outfit today! What are your plans for the holiday? Let me know down below in the comments!
xoxo,
Sarah
