Beauty Lovers Gift Guide
The first gift guide for 2017 is here. I can't believe I'm even saying that! I figured with the Sephora VIB sale happening right now, it'd be a good time to start with my beauty lovers gift guide. This has tons of gift ideas for the women in your life that are obsessed with beauty and pampering products.
Over the years, I've found that beauty products make for great gifts for your girl friends, sister, mom, significant other's mom, etc. That is, if they like beauty products of course. It really is like giving the gift of pampering someone or splurging on something they likely wouldn't buy for themselves.
Let's get into my picks for beauty gifts this season!
Bath bombs -- These are a great gift to put in someone's stocking or to make a little gift basket that is for a spa night in. They're also usually pretty affordable so you can add them into another gift you may already be working on.
Face masks -- I included two of my favorites in this guide. The first is the Origins Clear Improvements mask. This one is SO good for helping acne-prone or oily skin. Charcoal masks in general are great for that and this one from Origins in perfect. The other mask I included is the First Aid Beauty 5-in-1 Bouncy Mask. This is the mask I use when I want to calm my skin down. I use some pretty harsh products on my skin since I am acne prone so I like to use gentle masks like this one from First Aid Beauty. It leaves your skin so soft! I think this is the perfect mask to buy for someone whose skin type you may not know since it's very versatile and would work for tons of different people.
Fragrance -- This set is on my wish list for this year. I LOVE both of these scents and it's a great deal to get them both together. YSL is such a luxurious brand and this is a way for someone who loves trying out new scents to try them without committing to a full-sized bottle.
Eyeshadow Palette -- The Tarte Tartlette in Bloom palette is the perfect everyday palette in my opinion. It has a mix of mattes and shimmer shades. Plus, most of them are neutrals which are great for creating tons of different looks. I love to use the dark shades as eyeliner too. If you have someone in your life that needs a new eyeshadow palette, is a beginner, or wears the same look daily, this palette is for them!
Eyeliner/Mascara Set -- This Stila set is an insane deal. It includes a full sized liquid liner and mascara which retail for $45 together. This set is $25 which is amazing. These are both products that I've heard great things about, but I haven't had the chance to try out yet.
Body Butter -- As soon as winter rolls around, my skin gets SO dry. I know I'm not alone in that either which is why I love to give and receive body butter as a gift. It's a practical gift, but also feels luxurious and is a great piece of item to include in any kind of spa basket or stocking too!
T3 Curling Wand -- This is definitely a splurge gift, but I will say that it is worth every single penny! I haven't touched my old curling iron once since getting this one. It helps my curls last for days which is unheard of since I have fine and straight hair. It also would make a great gift for yourself (:
NeuLash -- This eyelash serum is my secret weapon to long and thick lashes. It will help your natural lashes grow. It's expensive so I think of this as a great gift to give to someone that they may not want to buy for themselves.
Highlighter -- Champagne Pop is a really hyped up and for good reason. The formula is amazing and the shade is perfect for tons of different skin tones. Another highlighter I'm obsessed with is this one. I've been wearing it everyday since I got it. It's pretty expensive, but in my opinion it's worth it.
Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment -- The best lip balm EVER! I have this in my bag everywhere I go. They add a little pop of color onto your lips without the hassle of touchups or obvious fading. The ingredients are also really nourishing for your lips. They are $24 if you buy them separately, but I really love this set because it's $45 for 6 of them making them only $7.50 each. You could break up the set and add 1 in each gift.
