I just got back from a long weekend in LA. After spending five years living there, it's always a weird feeling visiting. It feels like home, yet it's not anymore. I got to catch up with lots of my friends, attended the Create + Cultivate conference, and worked out like crazy. The only thing I didn't do while I was there was sleep.
Here are a few of my traveling essentials.
(tote, sunglasses, nail polish)
I was so excited to be able to wear shorts outside for once!
(Shorts, sandals, scarf, tank- similar here, handbag- similar here and here)I went hiking in my favorite spot, Runyon Canyon. I usually only do part of it, but I did the entire thing on Friday, and the views were so worth it!
On Saturday, I attended the Create + Cultivate conference and met some amazing girls!
(dress, nail polish) I got my hair and makeup done by Glamsquad. I wish they were in Detroit, because they're AMAZING! If you are in NYC, Miami, or LA you NEED this app in your life!
The panels were awesome. My favorite was the 'Art of Instagram' panel with Whitney Port, Julianna Hough, The Fat Jewish, and Peace Love Shea. They had so many great stores and ideas to share.
It's such a good feeling to wear a tank and wedges outside without freezing to death. I'm in love with this split-back tank.
(tank- similar here and here, denim, wedges- similar here and here)I took the redeye LAX > DTW (such a bad decision that I can't seem to stop making). At least the sunrise was gorgeous!
I hope you're having an amazing week; thanks for stopping by! Xoxo, Sarah
