Styling Boyfriend Jeans + Tips to Survive a Midweek Rut

styling boyfriend jeans I love a good dark blue and for some reason I have barely any blue in my wardrobe. This ruffled cold-shoulder top is perfect for transitioning into fall since it's breezy and lightweight. You could easily layer it too which is essential when it comes to fall, at least here in the mitten! I personally love styling boyfriend jeans -- they're so much more versatile than I used to think they were. styling boyfriend jeans Boyfriend jeans are basically the best invention of life and the fact that I've found ways to dress them up for my everyday life makes me so happy. When I can find a look that equal parts comfy and cute, I'm one happy camper. styling boyfriend jeans These booties are fall perfection. I love that they will let your feet breathe, but are also warmer than your average sandal so you can wear them into the cooler months.styling boyfriend jeans styling boyfriend jeans styling boyfriend jeans styling boyfriend jeans This is an easy look to recreate from pieces in your wardrobe and it's something I'll be wearing all fall long. A good pair of boyfriend jeans and peep toe booties will get your really far. Then you can add in any top that you want to either dress it up or dress it down. This outfit looks super cute with a white tee too! Check out a few other ways I've been styling my boyfriend jeans here and here (: styling boyfriend jeans

It's hump day which means tons of you are impatiently counting down the hours until the weekend. Midweek ruts are a real thing. Today I wanted to share some things I do to keep my Monday motivation going all week long because let's face it Wednesdays can be just as hard as Mondays. Plan a midweek activity at the beginning of the week or even on the weekend. This will give you something to look forward to when you feel like you're about to face plant at your desk. You can wear something cute to the office (or to your home office in many cases) for an after-work happy hour session. Work out! I constantly see motivational posts about never skipping a Monday. How about never skipping a Wednesday? Sometimes when you get to the gym on Monday and then again on Tuesday, it's easy to feel like you've done enough and start slacking off by the time Wednesday rolls around. Also, if you missed Monday and Tuesday, there's no point in throwing away the entire week so get your booty to the gym on Wednesday! Drink ALLLLLL the water -- Drinking water has so many benefits and one of them is increased energy. Anytime I feel myself getting really tired, I will drink a glass of water. It instantly picks me up. It also won't give you the afternoon crash that caffeinated drinks will. Plan a relaxing night in -- The true sign of #adulting is planning to relax. Who knew that was ever going to have to be a thing? Real talk though, I have a tendency to work straight through dinner and into the evening. If I consciously plan on unplugging, I'm more likely to stick to it. Let's also be clear, by unplugging I simply mean not working. I hope some of those tips help you to keep on keeping on through the weekend! xoxo, Sarah Shop this look below:
